Web design is an artistic way of combining innovative technologies of the Internet with people’s aesthetic world. An appealing and user friendly website is what keeps staggering amounts of companies in business. Web design and development is a multi-stage process that requires professional and qualified professionals. Sites are designed using efficient applications, featuring client-side technologies such as CSS, HTML and server-side languages, most of which are open-source, therefore open for reuse and adjustment which facilitates the process of web design dramatically. Effective and competent website development services are not easy to find although web design companies are available in staggering numbers these days. Most modern web designers know how to make websites compact and structured. But only a small portion of them manage to combine both the technical expertise and marketing savvy making your website not only fully functional but user and search engine friendly. Speaking of search engine friendliness, it is becoming an industry standard for most web design companies to have SEO (AKA search engine optimization professionals) on board. As Val Zamulin, president of SEO Canada says, modern search engine optimizers have to try to merge the unmergeable – the technical and the marketing into a finely tuned website that both has an ability to rank well for certain keywords and phrases, and suit your perspective buyer and customer. A well-crafted website that is which will guide you to the world of successful business. |

In wordpress, this is fairly simple.. download wp-autoblog, install it, and key in the feeds you want to use… you’ll then end up with something like mygagdetinfo.com or roykeane.net…… those two are my sites.. and they’ve both had problems.. one was hit with a copyright infringement case, the other has been sandboxed by google for duplicate content. So unless you know what you’re doing, it’s a risky business. One i’ve learned from. I no longer use full feeds as content, as that can be misleading.. so i use partial feeds, with just text and always include a link back to the original author. This is *usually* safe enough. |

Well, i took a notion last week to set up an SEO related site just as a little experiment i could use in my spare time. I went searching for a domain name, and came up with Your SEO Niche .com (the reason i choose it was that i thought it sounded like ‘you’re so nice’!). That, coupled with the fact ‘SEO’ and ‘niche’ are two huge areas for webmasters like myself, i couldn’t resist the domain yourseoniche.com. So now all i need is time to start experimenting.. hopefully this site will also teach YOU a thing or two which you can use in your own sites/blogs |
